Poems

Every now and then I dabble in poems. Here is where I’ll add any I want to share

Get A little closer
A good look isn't just a glance, It's seeing her with your full attention.
Listening in the background, won't get you the full story.
A quick sniff of her perfume as she walks past,
is jut enough to hide the smell.
You won't see the full details from a cross the room.
It's when you stand close enough to touch, you see the cracks and scars,
the darkness in her eyes.
Listening to the story coming from her lips,
telling a story no one knew.
Close enough to smell past the perfume, but it's too late,
Death has now consumed you.

Heartbreaker

I am a heartbreaker,

I am a tyrant.

I am a monster.

I will pull your heart out of your chest and play a tune among the strings,

Laughing as I watch the beads of tears crawl down your cheek.

Whispering those fake, I love yous into your ear that you will still believe.

Just Like Before

Tell me that you love me even if you don’t.

Make me feel wanted even if for just one night.

Make me feel alive even if my heart won’t beat.

Unfreeze my soul for a moment,

Break down my walls,

Knowing they will go back up in the morning.

Whether you care or not, bring me life,

If even for just one night.

Tell me that you love me even if you don’t.

We can forget this in the morning.

Go back to being strangers.

The way it was before.

Forget the emotions,

Forget the lies.

I’ll pretend the warmth wasn’t there,

Close myself off,

Just like it was before.

Memory

Whether you live or die, it will never be the same.

Whether you remember or forget, it will still be a memory.

It will still haunt me,

Chase me,

Fool me.

All you did was use me.

Life with you before was a dream, that turned into a nightmare.

And it’s all because of you!

I can’t go back.

I’ll never go back.

You should of forgot, you should of got lost.

You should of left me there to bleed.

Whether I live or die, I’ll never be the same.

Whether I remember or forget, it will still be a memory.

You will still be a memory.

Look In her Eyes

You look in her eyes, and you can find

A hint of light that no one sees

It’s the last bit of hope

Keeping her from drowning

The last of a wonder

She will never show

It hides behind darkness

Of someone else’s pain

She takes it all in

To keep you sane

It’s all she has left in her time of need.

Symphony of screams

Your screams are my symphony,
Your suffering is my encore,
Bow down to my song,
To the strings of my bass,
My rhythm will torture your soul,
Shaking and twisting your heart,
You will look for the light to welcome you to center stage,
Your only left with darkness and a binding beat.
It brings you to your knees,
As the song comes to an end,
Your left with emptiness as you wish for death.
Only to realize that was only the intro to my main show.

(So I want to add a little background to this latest poem. The first two lines are actually from a picture I saw on Pinterest. I have no idea who said them, but I wanted to add to it. I was really inspired by it.)
